How to Uninstall Blitz Media Player

General Software Removal Instruction

We always ensure that all of our software is easy to install, use and uninstall. While our partners have specific removal instructions on their webpages, we have included our own general software removal instructions.

Desktop application removal instructions:

Windows XP or earlier

Go to the Start menu. Go to Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. Select the application and clickChange/Remove. Follow the on-screen prompts to remove the application.

Windows 7 or Vista

Go to the Start menu. Select Control Panel > Uninstall Program. Choose the application and click the Uninstall/Change button. Follow the on-screen prompts to remove the application.

Windows 8

Open the Charms bar by moving your cursor to the lower right hand corner of your screen and select Settings. SelectControl Panel and click on Uninstall a program. Select the application and click Uninstall. Follow the on-screen prompts to remove the application.

Reset default Homepage and Search Provider:

Chrome Reset Homepage Link: chrome://chrome/settings/startup

Click on the three horizontal lines in the upper right-hand corner and choose Settings. From the On Startup section, select Open a specific page or set of pages. Clicking on the Set pages hyrperlink. Hover over the page you would like to delete, and press the (X) that appears. Add pages you would like to use.

Chrome Reset Search Provider Link: chrome://chrome/settings/searchEngines

Click on the three horizontal lines in the upper right-hand corner and choose Settings. From the Search section, selectManage search engines… Hover over your favorite Search Provider and select Make default. To delete a Search Provider, press the (X) that appears.

Explorer Homepage:

Click the Gear icon on the browser toolbar. Select Internet Options. Select the General tab. In the Home pagesection, select Use default. Click OK to close the Options window.

Explorer Search Provider:

Click the Gear icon on the browser toolbar. Select Internet Options. Select the General tab. In the Search section, select Settings. Select the Search Provider you would like to use. Select Set as default and click Close.

Mozilla Reset Homepage:

At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options. Select the General panel. In the Startup section, click Restore to Default. Click OK to close the Options window.

Mozilla Reset Search Provider:

Click the drop-down arrow next to the search engine icon and select a search engine (you can see your current default search engine in bold). Firefox will remember your choice and use the selected search engine.
